1 year old Alexander (cup cake smash)
Its funny how time flies. I got an e-mail from Rachael asking for some family and 1 year old shots. I couldn’t believe its been a year since I did Alexander’s newborn session. I was thinking, kind of cold outside for a 1 year old…plus its kind of, well, brown and uninspiring. I racked my brain for a second and wrote back, how about a cake smash? Rachael was all for it and she e-mailed back that she was picking up the cake. A little miscommunication, she picked up a cup cake instead. None the less, I set up the background and lights in her house and Alexander needed almost no coaxing at all – kids love cake! Alexander is just soooo stinking cute, I could easily post 50 shots of him. See you when your 2 little man.
[...] This little man is Noah. He is all of 8 days in these shots and was the perfect for the entire shoot taking time to eat when he was hungry and then fall back asleep. There is something soothing about listening to a sleeping baby breath and seeing parents be so natural with their kids.
