Janna & Shawn live in Alberta, but are originally from the Cape Breton area. They decided to marry in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Mother nature gave her typical summer wedding weather – sun, rain, overcast, calm, windy, warm and chilly. This couple and the wedding party were in for anything – troopers all the way, even if they were sick. All the best.
I went to school with Kelly. Darren was one of my neighbours. They live in Ontario now with their three beautiful kids. They were coming back to Cape Breton for a few days and wanted some family photos of the place they grew up in. First thing I thought of was to use one of the beaches in our old community of Cranberry in Sydney Mines. I decided on Lockman’s beach because of its beautiful sand, rocks and views. I had a blast and it was fantastic to catch up with them and meet their kids, although I feel really old now. All the best and hopefully we will meet again before we’re grandparents!
